Most people have obstructive vs. central apnea, but if you do have mostly central apneas, an oral device may not help as much as we would like it too. We can easily find this out with a Home Sleep Test.
Get a Home Sleep Test People with AHIs over 60.
We have certainly seen some miracles, so a 60 AHI would not rule you out for an oral device, especially if you can't use a CPAP. Speaking to one of our qualified sleep professionals is the best way to evaluate if an oral device is right for you.
